The range of Freedom 125 is about 330 kilometers. It has a two kilogram CNG tank and a two liter petrol tank. Its CNG tank is under the seat. It will be available in three variants of Drum, Drum LED and Disc LED and seven dual-tone colors. The cost of running a petrol-powered two-wheeler is around Rs 2.25 per kilometre, whereas for CNG it is only Rs 1 per kilometre. On its launch, Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director, Bajaj Auto, had said, “It will provide freedom from oil imports, range stress, apprehensions over charging, emissions and boring designs of commuter bikes.” The company also has Chetak electric scooter.

This year Bajaj Auto can also introduce 400 cc single cylinder Pulsar. The company’s Chetak electric scooter is also getting good response from customers.
