Beating the top 5 films, ‘Laapta Ladies’ made it to the Oscars, even defeating a South superstar’s film

New Delhi. Today we are going to tell you about those 5 films which ‘Laapata Ladies’ has defeated and emerged as the frontrunner in the Oscar race. 5 films were included in the race to hoist the flag of Hindi cinema across the world. This list also included the film of a South superstar which created a stir at the box office. There were long queues outside the cinema halls to watch this film.

In the film ‘Laapata Ladies’ starring Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Srivastava and Nitanshi Goyal, the acting of all three was appreciated a lot. Rajkumar Rao’s film ‘Srikant’, directed by Tushar Hiranandani, is a biography of Srikant Bolla, the founder of Bollant Industries. Rajkumar Rao’s incomparable acting in this film was highly appreciated. This film also reached the top 5 in the Oscar race, but could not beat ‘Laapata Ladies’.
