New Delhi. Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha got married with great pomp and show in Udaipur last year. This couple is now counted among the most popular couples of Bollywood. Parineeti Chopra has mentioned many times that she never wanted to marry a politician, but then Raghav Chadha entered her life and everything changed. Recently, Parineeti Chopra participated in Rajat Sharma’s talk show ‘Aap Ki Adalat’ with her politician husband Raghav and during this both of them talked openly about their love story.
The ‘Ishaqzaade’ actress says that she first met Raghav Chadha at an award function. Both of them had come there to receive awards in their respective fields. The actress says that her brother was a fan of Raghav and it was only on his insistence that she met Raghav. The actress further says, ‘After meeting, I said hello to Raghav and said that we will meet in Mumbai, to which he said that we will meet tomorrow. The next day I met my three managers and he met his organizers for breakfast.
Parineeti had Googled about Raghav
She further tells that she had liked Raghav a lot in the very first meeting and she had decided that she would marry him only. After returning after this meeting, Parineeti Googled about Raghav, what he does and what is his age.
The couple used to meet secretly
Talking about his dating period, Raghav Chadha said that after returning to India, he started meeting secretly. The actress was shooting her film in Punjab, when he used to meet secretly sometimes in the garden and sometimes in the Gurudwara. The couple told that their first meeting or date took place in the Gurudwara.
Had proposed for marriage in Gurudwara
Raghav told that both he and Parineeti belong to families which are very spiritual and have great faith in God. For this reason both of them used to meet in Gurudwara. The politician had proposed the actress to Waheguru for marriage and only after that both of them made their relationship public.
