AR Rahman's statement on Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj before the release of 'Chhava'

New Delhi: The new song of the film ‘Chhava’ ‘Aya Re Hurf’ is enthusiastic, which AR Rahman has not only composed, but has also sung it. AR Rahman described the song as an era call, which has been designed to bring Maratha Shaurya in its grand form. He emphasized that every rhythm in the composition, the call of war, keeps pace with the soul deeply with music. AR Rahman expressed happiness over the fact that this track has been successful in showing the power of the Maratha king and the essence of valor.

AR Rahman said, ‘Aya re storm is a call for an era, this is the honor of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. When I decided to compose the song, my idea was to bring out the Maratha’s Shaurya saga in its grand form. Actor Vicky Kaushal, who is seen in the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in the film, said, ‘Aya re storm is a primitive power of nature. Every person on the set has worked with his heart to honor the sacred heritage of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and shed blood and sweat on the set. This was not just a song, but a responsibility for us.

The actor further said, ‘Aye Re Hurricane is a big achievement – the coronation of a historical symbol (Maharaj) and this scene is good luck to make songs with words. I feel honored that AR Rahman sir has composed this song with his mesmerized composition and strong voice. It is an honor for all of us to launch it in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The ‘Chhava’, directed by Laxman Utekar, stars Vicky Kaushal, Akshaye Khanna in an important role with Rashmika Mandana. The film will be released in theaters on 14 February.
