New Delhi. Bollywood ‘Queen’ Kangana Ranaut, who has spread her magic in acting, is active in politics these days. Kangana Ranaut is busy preparing for the release of her upcoming film ‘Emergency’. The film ‘Panga Queen’ is based on the Emergency imposed in 1970 during Indira Gandhi’s tenure. Kangana Ranaut’s film has been surrounded by controversies since last year. After postponing its release twice, the film is now ready to hit the theatres.

Kangana Ranaut recently told IANS that she met Priyanka Gandhi in Parliament and invited her to watch the film. He said, ‘I met Priyanka Gandhi in Parliament and the first thing I said to her was that ‘you should see ‘Emergency”. On this he said, ‘Yes maybe’, so let’s see if she would like to watch the film.

Describing Indira Gandhi as a popular leader, Kangana said, ‘Apart from some very strange things that happened during the Emergency, I think she got a lot of love and respect. Becoming Prime Minister thrice is no joke. He got the respect of the people.
