Actress Bhagyashree worked with Salman Khan in the film Maine Pyar Kiya (1980). In a recent interview, Bhagyashree revealed that earlier she thought that Salman might be flirting with her. But later she realized that he was trying to tease her in the name of boyfriend Himalaya.

Bhagyashree also told that her friendship with Salman had become very deep while working together in the film.

Bhagyashree said- Salman started singing by sitting next to me.

In an interview given to the YouTube channel of Covid Gupta Films, Bhagyashree said – It happened during the shooting of the song Dil Deewana. One day Salman came. He sat right next to me and started singing in my ear. He has always been such a gentleman on the set and treated me so well that I couldn’t understand. Well, it just seemed like crossing the line of flirting and I said – why is he doing this?

Bhagyashree said- Salman had come to know about my affair.

Bhagyashree further said – Salman used to follow her and keep singing the same songs. I kept wondering what is happening?

Finally one day he took me aside and said – I know whom you love.

Then as soon as I asked him what he knew, Salman told the name of Himalaya. Salman said- I know about the Himalayas. Why don’t you call him here?

Salman attended Bhagyashree’s wedding

Bhagyashree told that after this incident her friendship with Salman Khan became very good. When Bhagyashree had decided to marry Himalaya, the entire family was against it, while only Salman and director Sooraj Barjatya were in her support.

The actress said- When I got married with Himalaya, only Salman and Suraj ji attended my side. No one from my family was there.

Let us tell you, Bhagyashree and Himalaya were married in 1990. After marriage, both became parents of son Abhimanyu and daughter Avantika.
