The journey of Bigg Boss 18 has ended. There were many contestants who came to the show with the dream of winning. One of them was model and actress Chum Darang, who was evicted at number five. While talking to Dainik Bhaskar, Chum Darang talked about his journey.
What would you like to say about your journey in Bigg Boss 18?
This journey was a beautiful experience for me, which is now over. But there are many good memories that will stay with me throughout my life. I thank Bigg Boss for giving me the opportunity to make my dream come true. To be honest, I still feel like I’m in a dream.
During this show, you have received a lot of love from the people of the country. What would you like to say to those people?
I had represented Arunachal Pradesh earlier also, so I knew that I would get love and support from the North East. But today when I came out, I felt that the whole of India loved and supported me. I am very proud of myself that maybe I did something good, that is why I got so much love from the people of the country. I thank everyone for this.
You handled people’s fights many times in the show. In a way, you were like a bridge between them. Do you consider it your responsibility?
Whenever there was a fight between Karan and Shrutika or Shrutika and Shilpa ma’am, there was a lot of difficulty in convincing them not to fight. I had to live with everyone. There were problems in the beginning, but later everyone understood. For me, friendship is like family and is very important. You can say that I thought to myself that if all of them live together, then I too will be happy. I am so happy that now I have friends for life.
Were you sad that you could not win the trophy or happy that Karan Veer won the trophy?
I had told Karan on the morning of the finale that look Karan, if I do not win the trophy then I want you to win the trophy. I am very happy that he won Bigg Boss 18. Yes, I am a little sad that I did not win because I would have taken the trophy to Arunachal. But I am happy for Karan.
Your friendship with Karan has always been clear, but Karan has put more efforts into it. What would you say to people who want to see it move forward?
I don’t know anything yet. I had clearly said inside that I have not come to this show to have any affair, because this is just a show and here you have to live with a lot of people. In such a situation your feelings may change. These do not necessarily have to be true feelings. That’s why I told Karan that let’s go out and see, but we will always be good friends.
What were the most challenging and most beautiful moments for you in this journey?
The most challenging time for me in this journey was when I and Shrutika had a fight. It was a very bad experience for both of us, because we had gone into a different zone. The most beautiful moment for me was the egg task, I loved the way Karan supported me.
