BMW India on Thursday (21 November) launched the BMW M5 Performance Sedan in the Indian market. This seventh generation model is the most powerful M5 in history. The company claims that the car can accelerate from 0-100 in just 3.5 seconds.

Its price has been kept at Rs 1.99 crore (ex-showroom, Pan-India). The car will be sold as a Completely Built Unit (CBU). The BMW M5 competes with the Mercedes-AMG C63 SE Performance, which is priced at Rs 1.95 crore.
