Chinese company Byd’s premium electric coupe SUV Silan 7 will be launched in India on 17 February. It was showcased at Auto Expo 2025. Silan will give a range of up to 567km in 7 full charge. It will come in two variants- premium and performance.
The sealan 7 is the fourth model of the company after Sayal, Etato 3 and Emax 7 in India. The price of BYD Silan 7 can start at Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with electric cars like Hyundai’s Ionic 5 and Kia EV 6.

7 years/1.50 lakh kilometers of warranty will be available with Silan 7.

The special thing is that due to the theme ‘7’, its booking amount is Rs 70,000 and the company is also offering a discount of Rs 70,000 for booking this SUV by 17 February. Apart from this, the company will also give 7kw AC charger free with 7 years/1.50 lakh km warranty and free installation.

The delivery of the first 70 units of Silan 7 will start from 7 March.
Exterior Design: 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels will be found
BYD Celanis 7 EV has been given headlight units as sealed EV. Apart from this, it has a close-off grille, aggressive cut on front bumper and crease line, and black color finish below. The side will get a 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, while the big 20-inch wheels are optional. It has a black rugged cladding above the flush-type door handle and wheel arch, which extends to the entire length of the car.
The rear has a rear bumper with pixel design elements connected with LED tail lights and black finish. There are also fog lamps on the bumper. For storage, it has a 58 -liter front and a 520 -liter boot space.
The boot space can be increased to 1,789 liters by folding the back seats. In India, Silan 7 four monotone color will be available in Atlantis Gray, Shark Gray, Cosmos Black and Aurora White color options. There is no dual-tone color option in this SUV.

Interior: 10.25-inch Digital Driver Display and Edas Safety Feature Talking about the cabin of Silion 7, it has 4-spoke steering wheels and advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) controls with heated grips and audio functions on the dashboard. It provides buttons and two cups holders for drive selector knob, drive and terrain mode on the center console.
This SUV car features features such as the Rottellable 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen, 10.25-inch digital driver display, 12-speaker sound system, head-up display and panoramic glass roof with sunshade. It has front seats with heating and ventilation functions, which are also an electric adjustable along with a memory function. Apart from this, features like 50W wireless phone charger, connected car tech and powered tailgate have also been provided in Silan 7.
For safety, it has features like 11 airbags, 360 degrees camera, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), front and rear parking sensors. It also has an Adas system, which includes features such as rear collagen warning and adaptive cruise control.

Silan will give 567km range in 7 full charge The sealaan is available in 7 premium and performance variants. Both variants have an 82.5kwh LFP battery pack. The premium variant comes in the rear-wheel-drain configuration, which generates 313hp power and 380Nm torque. At the same time, its performance variant comes with an all-wheel drive option, which generates 530hp power and 690Nm torque.
BYD claims that the premium variant of Celarion 7 may hold a speed of 6.7 seconds and 0-100KPH in Performance version 4.5 seconds. The company claims that its premium variant will give a range of 567km and performance version 542km in full charge.
