Advocate Ashish Rai said- These videos were uploaded on online portals, where wrong things were done about women. Not only this, after these statements, the people present there were also seen laughing, which makes it clear that their intention was not respectable towards women.

It is also being said that the purpose of these videos was only to get popularity. By making vulgar comments on women, these people want to earn money through online platforms. This is a simple crime.

Making wrong statements against society or any class is also legally wrong. Especially when this content can also reach young children, because this video can be easily found by everyone online. Nowadays, big faces are doing such things on social media, whose followers include us and your home children. In such a situation, it directly affects people. For this reason, this complaint has been sent to Mumbai Police Commissioner, National Commission for Women, Maharashtra Women’s Commission and Child Commission.

Earlier the IPC had strict streams on such cases, but now action will be taken under the new BNS (Indian Code of Justice). Apart from this, this case can also be registered under the IT Act, as it has been done through digital medium. Now it depends on the police what streams they impose on it.

Currently, no notice has been sent from our side to those against whom a complaint has been filed. Our job was to file a complaint, now it is in the hands of the responsible authorities about what steps they take further.
