His statement came after the statement of Minister Uday Samanta, in which he expressed disappointment about the film, he objected to a scene, showing Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj dancing and said that it should be removed. He had said that if they raise objections, we will not let it be released. Director Laxman Utekar said- will remove objectionable scenes before release
However, after his statement, the film’s director Laxman Utekar met Maharashtra Navnirman Sena leader Raj Thackeray and assured him that all the objectionable scenes of the Vicky Kaushal starrer film would be removed before the release.
