New Delhi. Bollywood actor Deepak Tijori has been cheated. He has filed a case against ‘Bhaiya Ji’ producer Vikram Khakhar in Mumbai’s Amboli Police Station. The actor alleges that he has been cheated of about 1 crore 75 lakhs. The police have registered a case and started investigating the matter.

According to Deepak Tijori’s complaint, the police have registered a case against Vikram Khakhar under sections 420 (cheating) and 406 (criminal breach of trust) of the Indian Penal Code. The police have started investigating the case and are searching for the accused.

According to officials at the Amboli police station, 62-year-old actor Deepak Tijori first met Vikram Khakhar in 2019. During their conversation, Tijori mentioned that he was working on a film project called Tipsy, which was shelved. Khakhar then told Tijori that he had some contacts in London and could help him complete the film there.

For this, Deepak Tijori transferred about 1 crore 75 lakh rupees from his bank account to the account of Khakhar’s company Thought Benchers on 3 March 2020. However, a few days later, when Tijori asked about the film, Khakhar told that everything is closed in London due to Corona. A few days after the corona ended, Vikram Khakhar promised Tijori to make the film again, but even after many days passed, he did not make the film. When Deepak Tijori messaged Khakhar on 14 March 2024 and asked for his money back, he did not give any satisfactory answer.

During this time Deepak Tijori also came to know that Khakhar did not spend even a single penny of the money he had given to him for making the film. Then he realized that Khakhar had cheated him. After this Deepak Tijori filed a case against Khakhar in Amboli Police Station on 17 September.
