Dharmendra Had Secretly Enerized Dilip Kumar’s House | Dharmendra entered Dilip Kumar’s house hidden: I said- I have a big fan since childhood; Worked together in Bengali film innings

Dharmendra was a big fan of Dilip Kumar even before entering the Bollywood industry. At that time, Dharmendra came to Mumbai due to some work and reached his house to meet Dilip Kumar on the second day. Even Dharmendra considered Dilip Kumar as his brother.

Dharmendra remembered this story in Dilip Kumar’s autobiography, Dilip Kumar: The Substance and the Shadow. Where he said, it is in the year 1952 when he was studying in Ludhiana and for some reason he came to Mumbai. During this time he wanted to meet Dilip Kumar. On the second day of coming to Mumbai, he left for his house to meet Dilip Kumar. He entered the house directly after seeing a security guard under Dilip Kumar’s house. Crossing the door one after the other, they reached inside the house where they saw the ladder to go on the upper floor. Through the ladder, he reached the gate of a room above in which Dilip Kumar was sleeping. Standing at the gate, Dharmendra kept staring at a tuck Dilip Saheb.

Dilip Kumar was scared to see Dharmendra

Dharmendra wrote, stating the whole story- Dilip Kumar sat up and stared at me, he was quite surprised to see that a stranger is standing at the door of his bedroom. As far as I was concerned, I could not believe my eyes that Dilip Kumar was my idol in front of me. They shouted loudly after seeing me and made a voice to the servant. After this, due to fear, I ran down the stairs and got out of the house.

Dharmendra told that he kept running for a while and when he reached the safe place, he saw that no one was chasing him.

Later Dharmendra regretted

He then questioned himself. He wrote- I realized how careless I have done by interfering in the privacy of an actor. So what if there was no watchman at the gate and there was no family member to stop me at home? I should not have gone to his house like this.

Requested with Dilip Saheb’s sister- Dharmendra

Dharmendra further wrote that he got a chance to meet some celebrities due to winning a talent competition nearly 6 years after the incident. Due to which he met Dilip Kumar’s sister.

Dharmendra said- I saw Dilip Saheb’s sister going and I ran after him and requested him to introduce me to Dilip Saheb. I told them that I think Dilip Saheb is my brother. After this, Dharmendra got a chance to meet Dilip Kumar, that too, he could not believe his luck with invitation.

Later an invitation to come home- Dharmendra

Dharmendra wrote- When I was leaving, he took me up to his room and gave me a sweater from his cupboard because there was a little cold and he saw that I was wearing just a thin shirt. They hugged me and came to the gate to leave me.
