New Delhi: Madhuri Dixit and Sridevi were ruling Hindi cinema in the 90s. She was the top actress of Bollywood then. There were rumors that there was competition between the two, hence they were often against each other. However, now Madhuri Dixit has given her reaction on this. In a conversation with News18, Madhuri Dixit admitted that she and Sridevi never got much of a chance to bond as their paths never crossed professionally, but she always had immense respect and admiration for Sridevi. There was a feeling.
Madhuri Dixit said, ‘We used to respect and praise each other a lot. I had respect for her as an actress, because she had worked in many languages, which was amazing and she was successful in them. She was also very sweet with me. We never worked together. There was a film which we did a long time ago, but even then we did not have any scenes together. Our paths never really crossed in that sense.
Worked together in the film ‘Pukaar’
Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit worked together in the film ‘Pukar’, which was produced by Boney Kapoor and Sridevi. However, the actress revealed that they never connected even on the sets. He said, ‘Pukar was made in Boney ji’s production. She was the producer of that film. There was not much conversation between us, because she was doing her work and I was doing mine. We didn’t really get a chance to talk much.
Interesting role in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’
