Diljit Dosanjh had a concert in Mumbai on December 19, for which an advisory was issued by the Maharashtra administration. Now Singer has taken a dig at the administration in this matter. Giving the example of Samudra Manthan, he said that like Lord Shiva, he too will drink the cup of poison, but will not let it go inside him.
Actually, a fan page of Diljit has shared a video of the concert held in Mumbai, in which the singer is seen saying, ‘Yesterday I asked my team whether any advisory has been issued, following me. So he said that everything is fine. But as soon as I woke up this morning, I came to know that an advisory has again been issued against me. However, don’t worry at all. All these advisories are on me, I will give you double the fun that you have come here to enjoy.
Diljit said, ‘This morning when I was doing yoga, a thought came to me. I think today’s show should start with that. When the ocean was churned, the gods drank the nectar, but the poison that came out was drank by Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva did not keep that poison inside himself, but confined it to his throat only. That is why he is called Neelkanth.
Diljit further said, ‘So I learned that whatever poison life and the world throws at you, never let it come inside you. Don’t leave any stone unturned in your hard work. People will stop you, interrupt you… whatever happens, they can try as hard as they want, but do not let yourself be disturbed from within.
Know what is the whole matter Actually, Diljit’s concert was in Hyderabad on 15th November. Earlier, the Telangana government had issued a notice to him, his team and Hotel Novotel in Hyderabad.
In the notice issued by the District Welfare Officer of Telangana, the singer was asked not to sing songs like Patiala Paag and Panj Tara during the live show. This notice was issued by the Welfare of Women and Child and Disabled and Senior Citizens Department.
Diljit Dosanjh had a concert in Chandigarh on 14 December. During this time, the administration had issued a show cause notice to the organizers. The administration had filed a status report regarding this in the High Court on Wednesday, in which it was told that they have sought answers from the organizers regarding noise pollution.
According to the administration, the sound level during the concert was found to exceed the prescribed limit. The sound was not supposed to go above 75 decibels (DB), but during the concert the sound reached 82 decibels. Now the hearing of this case will take place on January 9.
