New Delhi. Amitabh Bachchan is the name of the Indian film industry who does not need any introduction. Amitabh Bachchan, who is celebrating his 82nd birthday today, has been seen in all types of films – action, romance, comedy, tragedy. His life is an inspiration for those people who start cursing themselves in the bad days of life. Big B is the megastar of the century, but to reach here he fell many times and then got up with the same morale.
There was a time when his voice was rejected by All India Radio. But then after a few years, he made people so crazy with the same voice that not only his voice but also his acting became a fan. Debuted on screen through this voice! The film was ‘Bhuvan Shome’. In 1969, he entered Hindi cinema not as an actor but as a narrator. The actor was happy that he got Rs 300.
Amitabh became the icon of youth
After a lot of struggle, the multi-starrer ‘Saat Hindustani’ was released in the same year i.e. 1969. Also got 5 thousand rupees for this. Then in 1971, ‘Reshma Aur Shera’. In this, he got a small role and that too of a deaf and mute youth Chhotu. Films were being received but not at the desired level. Then ‘Anand’ knocked in life and ‘Babu Moshay’ became everyone’s favorite along with ‘Anand Babu’. People flocked to theaters to listen to his ‘Bak-Bak’. After this it was as if it was written that now is the era of Amitabh. The 1973 film ‘Zanjeer’ proved to be the turning point of his career. After this Amitabh never looked back. He kept the standards of the Bollywood industry high through films like Saudagar, Deewaar, Sholay, Laawaris, Chupke Chupke, Namak Halal, Namak Haraam, Nastik, Kalia, Khuddaar, Sharabi, Don. Films of every genre. Every character talks. Amitabh became the icon of youth. Hippie cut hair, bell bottom and the style of dancing with one hand raised settled in the hearts of cinema lovers.
Tall height had broken the dream
When films one after the other were flopping, actresses used to refuse to work saying that he was too tall. But as soon as ‘Angry Young Man’ came to Bollywood, he was no longer suitable for any heroine. By the way, due to his height, Amitabh could not fulfill another dream and that was of serving the country. The actor had told in KBC that a military officer in Delhi had told his father, ‘Give me this son of yours.’ After college, when Amitabh went to join the Air Force, he was shortlisted during the interview. Why? Because the legs were long. Well, Amitabh achieved everything he deserved. He turned his shortcomings into strength and became the emperor of the Indian film industry.
When mother Teji’s rebuke became a lesson
Amitabh always gave importance to values in his life. I was proud of what I got from my parents and happily shared it with everyone. Many such moments have been shared on the stage of KBC which are priceless, which express the depth of relationships very well. Like father’s lesson that don’t feel bad if something doesn’t go as per your wish because God must have planned something good for you or mother’s rebuke to Teji that never get beaten and never consider yourself weak.
Admitted to becoming a master in everyone’s difficult days.
Even though Big B achieved success after initial failures, he also spent the rest of his life in struggle. Entered politics, reached Parliament but could not become an MP. Then he opened a production company named ABCL which did not work. The dream broke and along with it he also faced financial crisis, the films kept flopping. At such a time he entered the television industry. People made fun of him and even his own people refused but Big B accepted to become a quiz master. Since the year 2000, Senior AB has become everyone’s favorite with his style. This businessman of big screen has now become the emperor of TV industry also.
