Dupahiya is coming with a tadka of comedy | The story of village-house will be seen with comedy in ‘Dupahiya’: Gajraj Rao said-I am lucky that I get good co-actors

The comedy-drama series ‘Dupahiya’ has been released on 7 March on Amazon Prime. The story is from a fictional village named Dhadakpur in Bihar. The village which has been crime-free for the last 25 years and preparations are underway to celebrate it. During this time, the iconic ‘two -wheeler’ of the village is stolen. Subsequently, the villagers start looking for a motorcycle.

The series stars Gajraj Rao, Renuka Shahane, Bhuvan Arora, Sparsh Srivastava, Shivani Raghuvanshi and Yashpal Sharma in the lead roles. The series is directed by Sonam Nair.

A unique mixture of humor, social messages and entertainment is being seen in ‘two -wheelers’.

Question- How was the atmosphere on the set while working in ‘Dupahiya’?

Answer/touch- The atmosphere of the set was amazing. The shooting atmosphere was very fun. Everyone was helping each other. Working with Gajraj sir was fun. It took time to shoot, but fun also came. This journey will always be remembered.

Gajraj- When you work and if the actors do not have coordination between themselves, it seems strange. Most of the time is spent behind the camera on the set. If there is no laughter and respect among themselves, then things start to look boring. Good luck that I have always got good co-actors. For me it is not just a work, but also a classroom. New lessons of life are found here. When you see Shivani’s hard work or the cool approach of Bhuvan, you get inspiration. There is a lot to learn behind the camera. A lot of artists like Renuka ji or Yashpal Sharma got to know a lot.

Shivani- We are all new, we do not have much experience, but Gajraj sir has years of acting, direction, production and experience of theater. We got a great team. The tuning between us was done on its own, Sir took full care of it. Every day there were talks, jokes used to go on.

Sparsh was well liked in the film ‘Lapata Ladies’. His story was also from a small village.

Bhuvan- Gajraj sir set the tone of the set. It is not only the responsibility of the director in the shooting, but the role of a senior actor is also important. Gajraj sir created such an easy atmosphere that everything became easy. Gajraj sir sets the tempo of the shoot very well and creates a relaxing atmosphere.

Question- What are your memories associated with ‘two-wheeler’?

Answer/Gajraj- My first two-wheeler’s memory is from the film ‘Sholay’. Jai and Veeru have a bike. After that I was surprised to see Amitabh Bachchan sir’s flying sir in ‘Mukaddar Ka Sikandar’. When he grew up, he used to run Papa’s scooter. Once I had an accident with him. He was shocking for me. Then once I was going from Delhi to Kotputli in Rajasthan on a friend’s bike. I do not know what happened, in excitement, I tried to remove the bike from two trucks. That day I survived only three inches. After that I have not touched the bike.

Bhuvan- Every boy has the first demand to get me a bike. It is very relative. My first ride was two -wheelers. The bike has a different craze. I am still a rider. During the shooting of this show, she enjoyed a lot of bike riding. It was a very nostalgic, as the feeling of buying its first bike.

Shivani- I was always afraid of two-wheelers. The reason for fear is that a scooter climbed on top of me. Also, once I saw an accident, which always remained in the mind. So I am a little afraid of two-wheelers.

Sparsh- Two-wheeler reminds me of the days of my city Agra. Mathura and Bharatpur to go out to make three -wheelers with friends.

Earlier, Shivani appeared in Amazon’s show ‘Made in Heaven’ and ‘fake’ in Bhuvan.

Question- What does ‘two-wheeler’ mean for you and how was the experience of working in it?

Answer/Gajraj- This project was very special and memorable for me. Our producers Shobha and Salona and Director Sonam, all three are a strong female brigade. Shooting with him in remote areas was a memorable experience.

Bhuvan- There are very few shows that are fun and also give a message together. The show is worth watching with the family. You can laugh openly and there will be no tension of a dark twist. Such shows are now less seen.

Shivani- This was a new experience for me. I had never done comedy. Earlier, the work I have done, I have not seen my grandparents, but they will also be able to see and understand ‘two-wheeler’.

Sparsh- My character in this show gave me a chance to explore myself. I enjoyed working in it and I am sure that the audience will enjoy it equally.
