Salman Khan had told in the show ‘Aap Ki Adalat’ that after the success of ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, he did not get any new film offer for about four to five months. At that time he felt that he would not get any more work, because his co-star Bhagyashree got married soon after the release of the film and the industry ignored him.

As soon as Salman Khan’s new film was announced after ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, he started getting offers from producers. Salman Khan also revealed that he got a fee of Rs 31,000 for his first film and then his fee increased to Rs 75,000 for his next film. Salman Khan and Bhagyashree’s ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ proved to be an all-time blockbuster at the box office.
