The director wants to atone for his sins towards cinema.

New Delhi. On January 17, Ram Gopal Varma’s film ‘Satya’ was re-released in theatres. 27 years ago, Urmila Matondkar and Manoj Bajpayee starrer film ‘Satya’ created a stir in theaters as soon as it was released. The film gave a new impetus to the careers of Ram Gopal Varma as well as Urmila Matondkar and Manoj Bajpayee. Director Ram Gopal Varma, who directed superhit and blockbuster films like ‘Rangeela’, ‘Satya’, made many films in his 32-year long career, but most of his films had a similar fate at the box-office and all of them either flopped or failed. Was a disaster.

On the occasion of the re-release of ‘Satya’, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma had shared an emotional post in the name of his excellent film. He had said that he watched ‘Satya’ for the first time in 27 years and he realized that he had lost his way. He made films in the last so many years, but none of his films reflected honesty and truthfulness like ‘Satya’ and this is probably the reason why all his films did badly at the box office.

Ram Gopal Varma had mentioned in his post that he had lost his way and had forgotten why he became a director. He just started running after success and forgot his goal and never had the courage to make a film like ‘Satya’ again. Just a few days after expressing his remorse, the filmmaker has decided to atone for his sins towards cinema. Ram Gopal Varma has announced his scariest film till date for ‘Prayashchit’. He is coming with ‘Syndicate’.
