A doctor raised questions regarding Saif Ali Khan health insurance.
Mumbai. Saif Ali Khan is admitted in Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai. He had an operation and is fine. A team of doctors is monitoring him. Meanwhile, Saif’s alleged health insurance documents were leaked and also went viral on social media. In this viral document it was claimed that Saif had claimed Rs 35.95 lakh for cashless treatment. However, the insurance company approved only Rs 25 lakh. A doctor has raised questions on this viral document. He said that no insurance company gives such a big insurance claim.
Dr Prashant Mishra, a heart surgeon from Mumbai, raised the question that no insurance company approves an insurance claim of more than Rs 5 lakh for a man. But big hospitals are making higher bills and health insurance companies are also paying the same. The common man is facing problems due to this. Premiums for mediclaim companies are increasing.
For small hospitals and common man, Niva Bupa will not sanction more than Rs 5 lakh for such treatment. All 5 star hospitals are charging exorbitant fees and mediclaim companies are paying also.
Result – premiums are rising and middle class is suffering. https://t.co/jKK1RDKNBc— Dr Prashant Mishra (@drprashantmish6) January 18, 2025
