Rani Mukherjee was seen in the lead role with him in the film ‘Saathiya’. Recently, Vivek Oberoi shared an incident during the shooting of ‘Saathiya’. He told that during that time he had to sleep on the bench and he used to change clothes in the washroom of the restaurant. Vivek used to shoot continuously for 18 to 20 hours for this film. It has been 22 years since Vivek entered the industry, recently he shared some interesting stories related to his career.

‘Saathiya’ offer was rejected as soon as I heard it
While talking to SCREEN, he told that he had earlier rejected the offer of ‘Saathiya’. Said, ‘Shaad Ali was like my childhood friend. One day he called me and said he wanted to show me something. He showed me the tape of a Tamil film ‘Alaipayuthey’. He said that he was making that film and offered me the role of Maddy. I was doing ‘Company’ at that time, so I rejected the film. But by the end of the movie, I was crying and I had to do it. I spoke to Mr. Varma, we sorted it out, and then I signed ‘Saathiya’. ,

shooting was not easy
He had to face a lot while doing this film. He says, ‘Saathiya was a small budget film. During the film, a make-up van was available only for Rani. What about me? Sometimes I had to change my clothes in the restaurant bathroom and sometimes in the hotel toilet. During that time, I had to sleep on the bench many times for power naps. He also used to do touch-up on the streets. I have shot for ‘Saathiya’ for 22-23 hours non-stop.

Let us tell you that in his interview he also told that once when he was shooting for this film. Suddenly people came and started shouting ‘Chandu Bhai’, and I was very surprised. From those 4-5 people, around 2000 people gathered there and the security arrangements were left in place. Shad wanted to get me out of there, so he pushed me into Rani’s makeup van and I was looking out the window. They were shouting dialogues. Ultimately, the police had to be called, at which time Shad opened the door and said wait and see, this crowd is for you.
