The accused Mohammad Shariful Islam Shahzad has been arrested in the case of attack on Saif Ali Khan in a flat in Bandra, Mumbai. Shahzad earlier worked in a housekeeping firm. According to sources, he had already come to Saif Ali Khan’s house for cleaning. He knew every nook and corner of the house. He knew where the guards were, when their shifts changed and how to enter the house. It was also revealed that this cleaning was arranged by Saif’s househelp Hari.
The 30-year-old accused who attacked Saif, also known as Vijay Das, Bijay Das, Mohammed Ilyas and BJ, was arrested on January 18 from a labor camp near the Metro construction site in Thane’s Hirenandani Estate. On January 16, Shehzad entered Saif’s flat and attacked him with a knife. Saif was taken to hospital in time. Saif’s surgery lasted for 5 hours.
