Regarding this agreement, Yogi Adityanath has said that Prayagraj Mela Authority has signed an MoU with Google to realize the Prime Minister’s vision of Digital Kumbh. We will be able to see the digital map of Sangam city, every person will be able to see every activity and event on his smartphone.
Apart from this, a Digital Mahakumbh Experience Center is being built to convey the mythological story of Mahakumbh to the new generation through VR and digital technology. In this centre, the mythological stories of Mahakumbh, Triveni Sangam and Prayagraj Mahatmya are depicted through the technology of virtual reality, hologram and digital projection.
8 galleries are being built in the Digital Mahakumbh Experience Centre, which will showcase the stories of Samudra Manthan and Mahakumbh through modern digital technology. People will be able to experience the Samudra Manthan event through virtual technology in the immersive walk-way gallery.
It is noteworthy that the main baths of Mahakumbh will start from January 13. There will be a bath of Paush Purnima on that day. After that, there will be Makar Sankranti (royal bath) on 14 January, Mauni Amavasya (royal bath) on 29 January, Basant Panchami (royal bath) on 3 February, Maghi Purnima (royal bath) on 12 February and Mahashivratri bath on 26 February.
