He shared that he had 49 films on the floor at one time, and he worked for 16 consecutive days. However, it was Dilip Kumar who motives him not to do much work and maintain a balance of work.

The actor explained the reason for being lying on the set

Telling the story of lying on the set, Govinda said, ‘I never used to reach the set on time. I was a big fan of Dilip Kumar Saheb. I used to correct my things first. I did not reach the set until my notes are set. ‘

Talking about the relationship with Dilip Kumar, Govinda said- 40-49 films at that time were on the floor. I used to go from one set to another. I was in the hands of the illiterate men of the film. If Dilip Kumar Sahab did not meet, these people would have killed me. He refused to work in 25 films. I asked Dilip Kumar Saheb, “I have to return this money.” In response to which he told me, ‘I will lend this money to you, but you leave these movies.’

In this conversation, Govinda told that Dilip Kumar was the first person who really cared for him. That is why he asked him to leave some films. Govinda said that sometimes he used to get so tired that he used to sleep continuously for 1.5 days.
