New Delhi. Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan is in the headlines these days for his upcoming film ‘Loveyapa’. The title track of this film has not received a particularly good response from the audience. Before the release of his film with Khushi Kapoor, Junaid Khan talked about the two films from which he was dropped. Both these films were made under the banner of his father Aamir Khan’s production house.
Junaid, while talking to Vicky Lalwani for his YouTube channel, told about his experiences. He said that sometimes he was thrown out due to budget and sometimes because he did not fit the role. He further says that he had auditioned for the film ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ along with his stepmother Kiran Rao.
Walked out after 4 days of shooting
Junaid Khan says, ‘I had auditioned for Lal Singh Chaddha. Kiran and I had auditioned for the role of mother and son. We shot 7-8 scenes of the film for 4 days, the footage of which was approximately 20 minutes. That was a test for me. Dad wanted to see how I deal with things, but ultimately he couldn’t. The budget of ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ was big enough to make a film with a novice.
Gave audition for ‘Missing Ladies’
After being thrown out of ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’, Junaid Khan also auditioned for the film ‘Laapta Ladies’ released last year. He had auditioned for the lead role in this film, but Kiran cast Sparsh Srivastava in his place. He says that Kiran had said that Sparsh was more suitable for the role in the film and she was absolutely right.
