Mumbai. Padma Bhushan winning singer Sharda Sinha is admitted in AIIMS, New Delhi. The condition of the singer, who is famous for Chhath songs and has sung in many Bollywood films, is critical. He is admitted in the ICU of AIIMS. She was admitted in the hospital for the last one week. But after his condition deteriorated, he was shifted to ICU on Saturday morning. Let us tell you, Sharda’s husband Brajkishore Sinha passed away only last month. He was 80 years old. He died due to brain hemorrhage. They were married for 54 years. After her husband’s death, Sharda also fell ill.

Sharda Sinha was having difficulty in eating and drinking for the last several days. However, no official statement has been issued by AIIMS regarding Sharda Sinha’s health. His fans and well-wishers are wishing for his recovery. Mahamrityunjaya chanting and special prayers are being done.

Special worship is being done for Sharda Sinha in Mahadev Temple and the court of Thawe Maa Bhavani in Gopalganj, Bihar. Sharda is from this place. Priests and pundits have wished for his health. Fans have also wished for his health on social media.

Sharda Sinha, resident of Bihar, is a popular folk singer. She is known for her Chhath. He has sung some popular songs in Bollywood. This includes ‘Kahe To Se Sajna’ in Salman Khan’s ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, ‘Babul’ in Salman and Madhuri Dixit’s ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’ and Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Gangs of Wasseypur 2’. He sang the song ‘Taar Bijli Se Patale’ in the film. He also sang a song in Nitin Neera Chandra’s film ‘Deswa’. Sharda was awarded Padma Shri in 1991 and Padma Bhushan in 2018.
