She has written in her biography that after marrying Dharmendra, she never met Prakash Kaur because she did not want to create problems in her family.

Esha Deol is the only one from Hema Malini’s family who has visited Dharmendra’s house. When Dharmendra’s younger brother, Ajit Singh Deol, who is also Abhay Deol’s father, was unwell, Esha, eager to see her uncle, went to his house to meet him.
