Hero MotoCorp on Friday (August 23) launched the updated Hero Glamour in the 125CC bike segment. The company has introduced the new Glamour with new color options, design updates and new features. The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer claims that the bike can run 55 kilometers in one liter of E-20 petrol.

The new Glamour is offered in two variants drum and disc. The drum brake variant is priced at Rs 83,598 and the disc brake variant is priced at Rs 87,598 (both ex-showroom). In the Indian market, the bike competes with Honda SP125, Honda Shine, TVS Rider and Bajaj Pulsar 125 in its segment.

New Hero Glamour 125: Design and Colour Options
The new Glamour looks similar to its current model. Only black metallic silver color has been added to it. Apart from this, the bike is available in three color options – Candy Blazing Red, Techno Blue-Black and Sports Red-Black.

The bike gets a muscular fuel tank with shrouds, a new LED headlamp, segment-first hazard lamps and an improved start-stop switch. The bike gets a single piece seat with single piece grill rail and new design alloy wheels.

New Hero Glamour 125: Performance
For performance, the new Hero Glamour has a 124.7cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that generates 10.72hp of power at 7500RPM and 10.6Nm of torque at 6000RPM. This engine is E20 petrol compatible as per OBD2 norms.

The engine is tuned with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The company claims that the bike gives a mileage of 55Kmpl. The bike also gets i3S (Idle Stop-Start System).

New Glamour 125: Hardware and Features
For comfortable riding, the bike has telescopic front forks and dual rear springs suspension at the rear. For braking, the bike has the option of drum and disc brakes at the front. Whereas only a drum brake unit is provided at the rear.

Hero says that it has lowered the rider’s seating position height by 8mm and the rear seat position by 17mm for easier seating on the bike. It gets a ground clearance of 170mm.

Talking about the features of the new Hero Glamour, it has a digital instrument cluster, which gives information like real time mileage indicator, odometer, trip meter and fuel indicator. The bike also has a USB port for charging mobile phones.
