‘History Books need to be corrected’ | ‘Need to improve history books’: Akshay Kumar said- read about Akbar and Aurangzeb, but the real hero is not mentioned

Akshay Kumar, who has recently been part of many biopics, has now given his opinion about history books. The actor said that the stories of many heroes are not found in school books, which are an important part of our history.

Talking to CNN-News 18, Akshay said, ‘There are many things in history books. I deliberately do such rolls that are not in our books. This is what I have to do. These are all unknown heroes. People do not know anything about them because no one goes to their depth. I am inspired to play like this.

He further said, ‘Many things need to be cured. We read about ‘Akbar’ or ‘Aurangzeb’, but do not read about our real hero. They should be mentioned. Our army has many stories. Many people have got the ‘Paramveer Chakra’. I think history needs to be cured and such leaders should be brought before our generation.

Akshay Kumar’s films include many biopics. After starting the biopic with the film ‘Padman’, he has played an important role in films like ‘Gold’, ‘Kesari’, ‘Emperor Prithviraj’, ‘Mission Raniganj’ and ‘Sarfira’. Today i.e. on January 24, his new film ‘Sky Force’ is also being released, which is based on a true incident.

Let me tell you, the film ‘Sky Force’ is based on the Indo-Pak war of 1965. The film introduced an exciting story of bravery and sacrifice of the Indian Air Force. The film stars Veer Pahadia, Sara Ali Khan, Nimrat Kaur and Sharad Kelkar along with Akshay Kumar.

Some of Akshay’s biopics have been well liked by the audience, while some films have also been a flop at the box office. Nevertheless, Akshay likes to play such characters and says that through these biopics he wants to deliver untold stories to the audience, so that the real heroes can be identified among the people.
