Honda Activa e
Honda Activa e is a new model carrying forward the name of the popular ICE scooter Honda Activa. It includes body and frame like ICE model. However, the styling of the EV is completely different. It has LED headlamps with turn indicators on both sides. The brand has given an LED DRL on the top of the vehicle. It has a short floorboard with a long seat. There is an Activa e badge at the rear which is integrated into the tail lamp unit.
The Activa e has a swappable battery setup, which consists of two 1.5 kWh batteries. Power from these units is transferred to the electric motor, which is rated to produce 5.6BHP power. This output can be increased to a maximum of 8 BHP. It offers a range of 102 kilometers on a single charge. The scooter also offers three riding modes Standard, Sport and Econ.
Honda QC1
Honda QC1 will be launched exclusively for the Indian market in 2025. Designed for short distance travel, the scooter features a similar design to the Activa e. Which can be seen as the apron and side panels of the vehicle. However, the scooter’s head is different without LED DRLs. The QC1 features a 5-inch LCD instrument panel that helps the rider interact with the EV by providing instrument information. Other features including under-seat storage, USB Type-C socket are available in the EV.
The QC1 has a fixed 1.5 kWh battery pack. It comes with a separate charger which can be connected to the scooter through a socket placed on the floorboard. Power from the battery is transferred to the compact in-wheel motor, which is said to produce power outputs of 1.6 bhp and 2.4 bhp. Talking about range, with all this the EV offers a range of 80 km.
