Honda Activa Electric is scheduled to be launched in India on November 27. The company is continuously teasing its first e-scooter in the country. We already know that it will have a digital display and it will be launched in two variants. Now, the company has confirmed that the upcoming Honda electric scooter will get a swappable battery pack. The scooter will have two battery packs, which can be taken out and charged. It was estimated from the recent teaser that its full charge range will be 104 kilometers in standard riding mode. Some other information has also been revealed before the launch.

Honda Activa E latest teaser Shows that the e-scooter will come with dual swappable battery packs. The company has shown this technology with its Benly e electric scooter during the India Mobility Expo this year. The company is calling it Advanced Mobile Power Pack Interchangeable Battery. It appears that the Activa E will be the first e-scooter to come with this technology in India.

Honda’s previous teaser had revealed that the Activa E will have a large digital display and it will run 104 kilometers on 100% battery. The riding mode on the display shown in the teaser was set to Standard, which suggests that the range may be reduced in Sports mode. It was also revealed that the instrument cluster will be equipped with built-in navigation. The company has also confirmed that the upcoming scooter will come with two variants.

It was told in a report that TFT display can be found in its entry-level variant and multi-colored screen can be found in other variants. In the premium variant of this electric scooter, information like battery charging status, remaining range, speed and ride mode will be visible on the display. It will also have functions like turn-by-turn navigation and music controls.

An early teaser showed the swingarm-mounted motor setup of the e-scooter. Let us tell you that the popular Bajaj Chetak and Vida V1 have also used the same setup. Brands currently go with three setups in e-scooters, which include a swingarm-mounted motor, a BLDC hub and a permanent magnetic synchronous setup. The teaser also gave a glimpse of the LED headlamp and seat on the new electric scooter.
