Govinda was about to leave his Juhu residence at around 4:45 in the morning. He was about to take a flight to Kolkata. Then suddenly a bullet was fired from the revolver, in which Govinda was injured. However, Govinda has not yet filed any complaint in this matter. 60 year old Govinda was taken to the nearby Criticare Hospital for treatment. He was treated well there. The bullet was removed from his leg and now he is completely out of danger.

When Govinda was shot, he was preparing to go to Kolkata. Govinda’s manager himself told, ‘We had to catch a 6 am flight for a show in Kolkata and I reached the airport. Govinda ji was about to leave his residence for the airport when this accident happened. According to the manager, when Govinda was keeping his licensed revolver in the cupboard, the revolver fell from his hand and a bullet was fired from it. The bullet was fired because the revolver’s lock was open.
Police seized the revolver
As soon as the news of firing was received at Govinda’s house, the police team immediately reached there. The police took stock of the situation and took Govinda’s revolver into their custody. At present, the police is investigating the matter. Till now, no official statement has come from Govinda and his family on this shooting incident. Govinda is not only an actor but also a leader of Shiv Sena. He has been away from films for some time. He is also called Hero Number One and Coolie Number One of Bollywood.
