Weather stripping is installed around the edges of doors and windows. These are made of plastic, foam or rubber. Through this the gaps in doors and windows can be filled. V-type weather strips are installed on the side of a door or window and work to prevent wind from coming inside. Foam weather stripping has an adhesive backing on one side and is extremely easy to apply.
Use draft stoppers, door sweep
Draft stoppers should be used to prevent cold air from escaping from the bottom of doors. Also, cold air can be stopped by installing cloth tubes and door sweeps. There are many types of door sweeps available in the market.
block wind from windows
Place plastic sheets on window glass. It blocks cold air by creating an extra layer. Also keep the windows closed through thermal curtains. These help in keeping the house warm. Double-pane windows or insulated glass units have gaps between the panes, keeping the inside of the windows from getting cold.
use a rug or carpet

In such a situation, a humidifier should be used to maintain moisture inside the house. Also, the immersion rod can be used to vaporize water, which will increase the humidity in the room.
Increase humidity in home through plants
Money plant and peace lily can also be planted among indoor plants to increase humidity in the house. Along with maintaining moisture, these plants also provide fresh air. Leave the lid of the vessel open while cooking and keep the bathroom door open after bathing so that the steam can spread throughout the house.
Danger of fungus due to excess moisture
While increasing humidity, keep windows and doors closed, so that dry air from outside cannot come inside. However, excess moisture can lead to fungus. In such a situation, the humidity of the room can be measured with a hygrometer, which should not be more than 40-60%.
