Hyundai Creta EV has been launched at a starting price of Rs 18 lakh (introductory ex-showroom). Its top-end variant is priced at Rs 19.99 lakh ex-showroom. This is also introductory price. At present it has not been told how long this special price will last.
Talking about the features, Hyundai Creta EV comes in two battery pack options, which include 51.4 kWh and 42 kWh capacity. The larger battery pack is claimed to give the Creta EV a range of 472 kilometers per charge, while the smaller pack is claimed to give a range of 390 kilometers per charge.
The variant with the larger battery pack claims to generate 168 bhp and 255 Nm torque. The company says that the EV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 7.9 seconds. All trims get three drive modes – Eco, Normal and Sports.
Creta EV gets an eight-speaker Bose sound system. Wireless phone charging pad is available in the cabin of the phone and panoramic sunroof is also present. There is a curvilinear screen on the dashboard. At the same time, it has an all-digital driver display. Apart from this, automatic climate control, cooled glovebox, cooled storage compartment under the armrest, front seat ventilation etc. are included. Hyundai EV comes with Level 2 ADAS system. It also has a 21-litre frunk under the bonnet.
