Creta Electric of South Korean automobile company Hyundai will be launched next week. Its design is almost similar to the Creta which runs on internal combustion engine (ICE). However, some changes have been made in the cabin of this electric SUV.

Creta Electric will be launched at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo next week. a media Report According to , Hyundai has made some changes in its cabin. Creta Electric will have a three-spoke steering wheel. In this, the gear selector will be given on the right side of the steering column. This is because the Creta Electric features a shift-by-wire system that uses electronic connections instead of a mechanical linkage between the gear shift and transmission. It will have a dual screen infotainment instrument cluster. It will have wireless connectivity with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The company has not given information about the price of this electric SUV. Its starting price is estimated to be around Rs 16 lakh. Special attention has been paid to the safety of passengers in Creta Electric. Advanced High Strength Steel (AHSS) and High Strength Steel (HSS) have been used in it. Because of this, the frame of Creta Electric is quite strong and it will give a safe driving experience. It has many safety features like six airbags, ISOFIX, disc brakes, surround view monitor, rain sensing wipers. Along with this, Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) Level 2 will also be available in Creta Electric.

Booking for this electric SUV can be done at Hyundai dealerships for Rs 25,000. It will compete with Tata Motors’ Curvv EV, MG Motor’s ZS EV, Mahindra & Mahindra’s BE 6 and Maruti Suzuki’s upcoming e Vitara. This five-seater electric SUV will be available in four variants – Executive, Smart, Premium and Excellence. It will be made available in eight monotone and two dual-tone colors. There will be two battery pack options for Creta Electric: 51.4 kWh and 42 kWh. The company has said that its 51.4 kWh battery pack variant has a range of approximately 473 kilometers on a single charge. Its 42 kWh battery pack will give a range of about 390 kilometers. This electric SUV can be charged from 10 percent to 80 percent in just 58 minutes using DC charging.
