Mumbai. TV and film actress Malvi Malhotra got justice after 4 years. He was stabbed by producer Yogesh Singh in 2020. Yogesh was stocking them. After a professional meeting, Yogesh proposed her for marriage. The actress refused. Still he kept sending them messages and stocking up. When the actress threatened to complain, he stabbed Malvi three times with a knife. Due to these attacks, there was a one and a half inch tear in Malvi’s stomach. She is about to die. Last week, a sessions court in Mumbai convicted Yogesh.
The court sentenced Yogash Singh to 3 years imprisonment. Talking to News18 regarding this development, Malvi said, “Finally there is relief. I have been fighting for the last 4 years. There was a lot of pressure and a lot of problems. But finally the truth came out. I went through a lot of mental trauma. “More than the physical wounds, it was the mental pain that affected me.”
Malvi Malhotra further said, “Initially it was very difficult. I was very scared. I constantly felt like someone was following me. But my family, especially my father, helped me. He told me that the physical injuries would heal, but I should not live my life in fear. “He told me to learn self-defense and asked me to get out of the house and go shopping or do anything else that made me happy.”
Malvi Malhotra said, “I finally understood that this is an incident which will not happen again and again and I should come out of it.” However, Malvi says that she never needed to take therapy and she gives credit to her father for this. Malvi said, “This incident was a lesson and I can now move forward with it. I never took any therapy. “My father helped me improve my mental health.”
Malvi Malhotra had revealed that Yogesh wanted to hurt her face, but when she moved her right hand to hide her face, he attacked her with a knife. She said, “I was trying to save face. I knew that recovering from a facial injury is difficult, especially for an actor. It is God who helped me in that situation. During such moments, one loses one’s thinking ability but thankfully I was alert and defended myself properly.”
