New Delhi. Actor-filmmaker Amol Palekar has given many memorable films to Hindi cinema of the 1970s. Most of his characters of ordinary boys were well liked. Recently Amol Palekar recalled the bad experience of working with Rajesh Khanna. He told that uncle had tried to humiliate him. According to Amol Palekar, Rajesh Khanna, frustrated with the ups and downs of his career, often behaved badly with other actors on the sets. Both of them worked together in the 1980 film ‘Aanchal’.

In an interview with The Lallantop, Amol Palekar openly criticized the behavior of Rajesh Khanna. He said, ‘No actor, especially a superstar like Rajesh Khanna, should insult his co-stars. There is no need for this. You will remain a superstar. It is said in our industry that hey, this actor is great, he has eaten up the entire scene. He chewed out his co-actor. I call this kind of actor a cannibal. I am not among such cannibal actors.

Kaka had humiliated Amol Palekar
Recalling a special incident, Amol Palekar said, ‘I did not have any lines in our scene. I didn’t even say a word. Still he felt the need to show the world that he was better than me. Why did they need to show the world how small this actor is? My height being short does not increase your length or height. I kept thinking about it, but then I decided at that very moment that I would never let this happen. I would never behave like this with anyone else.
