Both their wives are sisters.
Malayalam actor Rahman told that AR Rahman was working in another room during the honeymoon, leaving his wife behind. He jokingly said that while he himself is very sociable, AR Rahman is a completely dedicated and spiritual person. He told that during the honeymoon, instead of spending time with his wife, AR Rahman was practicing Veena for long hours in another room.
