Actor Mohit Malik, who has a 19 -year experience in the TV industry, has recently made his Bollywood film debut with Azad. In this film, he has played a negative character named Tej.
Mohit told in a special conversation with Dainik Bhaskar how he got a chance to get this role, what kind of fear and self -doubt was praised during the audition and how the film industry’s big star Ayushmann Khurrana was praised.

During the audition, there were many questions in the mind
Talking about his audition, Mohit said, ‘I had given auditions three times for this film. To be honest, for the first time when I received a call from casting director Vaibhav Vishnt, I was shooting a show in Punjab. Vaibhav said that director Abhishek Kapoor wants to meet me. The next day I came back and met him. He told me about the character, then I auditioned. ‘
What questions arose during the audition, Mohit said, ‘Many questions used to come to mind during the audition. As an actor, you repeatedly think ‘Is this right?’ Do I get rolls correctly? Will they be happy with me? Did my audition go well? Sometimes self-doubt also starts. I remember that I also talked to Vaibhav and asked him if everything is going well. But Abhishek sir believed in me and gave me the right direction. ‘

Even after years, self -doubt is
Mohit says that even after so many years, the self -doubt is not completely over. He says, ‘Self -dout lives with every actor. I think this question comes to the mind of every actor, ‘am I doing well?’ Or ‘am I doing this work correctly?’ This self -doubt inspires us to improve ourselves. Sometimes this fear also inspires us to move forward.
Even after years, there is always nervousness. As an actor, it is a part of the game in a way. Until no work is done, uncertainty remains. You never know what the next moment will bring. Sometimes it seems that my hard work is going in the right direction, never. But I have learned that you should just focus on your work and everything else will be cured on its own. ‘

Renowed horse riding for film
In the film ‘Azad’, Mohit plays the role of a man named Tej, who is a great horseman. Mohit took horse riding training for this role. He explains, ‘This was the first time I got a chance to take horseback training. Tej is a great horseman and it was necessary to present it properly on the screen. For this I went to Udaipur and took horse riding training for a month. I love animals, especially horses. Horses understand their energy quickly, so I had no problem in joining them.

Ayushman Khurana received praise
Mohit says, ‘I heard good reactions from many people during the screening. I also got a good feedback from Ayushmann Khurrana. He came at screening and later messaged me that he was happy with my work. Getting praise from a big star like Ayushman means a lot to me.
