New Delhi. Popular singer Asha Bhosle has ruled Indian cinema for decades with her melodious voice. She has sung thousands of songs in different languages in her career, which people liked very much. However, there was a time at the beginning of her career when Asha Bhosle felt that her elder sister Lata Mangeshkar’s talent would overshadow her. In an interview to India Today, Asha Bhosle spoke openly about the ups and downs in her career. She said, ‘I come from a musician family. From my father to my sister, all of them were singers. My voice was quite similar to Didi (Lata Mangeshkar). In the beginning, when I used to sing, my voice used to be like Didi’s.’
