New Delhi: Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit’s 1994 film ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’ is one of the most favorite films in the history of Hindi cinema. Till date, the songs of the film, its story and the chemistry between Prem – Nisha have made people crazy. Recently, director Soraj R. Barjatya reinforced old memories on Indian Idol and shared old things related to this evergreen film. He told that Madhuri Dixit was not the first choice for the role of ‘Nisha’. He first thought of casting another actress for this role.

Recently, the director of the film Soraj Barjatya told that we wanted to replace Karisma Kapoor in place of Madhuri Dixit in Aapke Hain Kaun. Yes, you heard right! After seeing Karishma’s acting in the love prisoner, Barjatya was so impressed with him that he wanted to take him in us. While returning home, he talked to his father about this and said, “He has a lot of ability.” We are still in the writing phase of ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’, and we need to cast someone for Nisha’s role.

However, his father Rajkumar Barjatya was not sure about this and he felt that Karishma was very young for this role. He said, ‘Let’s take someone who can carry this weight on their shoulders.’ Eventually, Nisha’s role came into Madhuri Dixit’s bag and her character became one of the best performances of her career. Years later, Karishma also admitted that if she was of the right age, she would like to play the role of Nisha in Hum Aapke Hain.
