Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is preparing to launch an American communications satellite. With this satellite, phone calls can be made directly from space. This will be a more innovative and modern method of communication than the existing satellite telephone services.

This is the first time that an American company is launching a major communications satellite from the country on an Indian rocket. Science and Technology Minister Jitendra Singh told“We will launch an American satellite in February or March. This satellite will allow voice communication on mobile phones. This will be an interesting mission.” India has earlier launched only small-sized satellites of American companies. However, the American company associated with this satellite has not been identified.

It is reported that this is a satellite of AST SpaceMobile of Texas in America. It will be sent into space from ISRO’s Satellite Launch Center in Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. In the last decade, India has launched 397 foreign satellites from Sriharikota. AST SpaceMobile said last year that it would use a Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) to launch Block 2 of the Bluebird satellites.

India now plans to build its own space station. The name of this station will be “India Space Station”. It can be established by 2035. Preparations are being made by ISRO to make the Gaganyaan mission successful. ISRO has started assembling the Human Rated Launch Vehicle Mark-3 (HLVM3) for this mission. This is the beginning of the first uncrewed mission under the country’s ambitious Gaganyaan Human Spaceflight Mission. ISRO has started assembling the S200 Solid Rocket Motor with stacking of nozzle end segments. HLVM3 is specifically designed for human spaceflight. This is an advanced version of the LVM3 rocket. Its height is approximately 53 meters and weight is approximately 640 tons. This three-stage rocket can carry a load of about 10 tonnes to low earth orbit. It also features a human-rated design as well as a Crew Escape System (CES) to ensure safe ejection of the crew module in case of a malfunction during return.
