The veteran actor held a press conference wearing the iconic outfit of ‘Shaktimaan’ in which he announced that he is returning as Shaktimaan in the year 2027. Recently, it was being claimed in media reports that Mukesh Khanna had made Ranveer Singh wait for 3 hours. Mukesh Khanna has broken his silence on this. He says, ‘I did not ask Ranveer Singh to wait. He waited 3 hours because he wanted to. We both enjoyed each other’s company a lot.
Lots of praise for Ranveer
Regarding Ranveer Singh, Mukesh Khanna further says, ‘He is a very amazing actor. His energy is amazing. But I will decide who will become Shaktimaan. Producers cast actors, actors do not cast producers. You come to my office and say that you want to become powerful, this method is not right. You are not allowed to come to my office and say that you want to become Shaktiman.
Ranveer is not fit for the role
From 1997 to 2005, Mukesh Khanna ruled the screen as Shaktimaan. He says that Ranveer Singh is very eager to play the role of Shaktimaan, but he is not yet convinced that he is the best for this role. According to actor Mukesh Khanna, it is not necessary to be a big name to play the role of Shaktimaan. He says, ‘It is not necessary to have a big name for a role. Otherwise, tell why Akshay Kumar did not fit into the role of Prithviraj Chauhan, even though he had a huge moustache.
