‘Teri Meherbaniyaan’ was directed by Vijay Reddy. The film is the story of a good-natured boy Ram (Jackie Shroff), who suffers from the actions of corrupt Thakur Vijay Singh. Ram vows to help the villagers by fighting against the evil practices of Thakur and his associates. During this time he meets Bijli (Poonam Dhillon) and falls in love with her.
The main character of ‘Teri Meherbaniyaan’ is not Jackie Shroff but his adopted dog Moti, who avenges his master by taking revenge on Ram’s killers. There are some emotional moments between Ram and Moti in the film, which shows a glimpse of Ram’s pain and Moti’s loyalty. Amrish Puri played the villain Thakur Vijay Singh in the film.
