‘Jaya will scold you if…’ When Amitabh Bachchan broke his silence on his wife’s behaviour, he gave the reason for avoiding personal questions.

New Delhi: Amitabh Bachchan is celebrating his 82nd birthday today on 11th October. Today the fans of the megastar are discussing his films, affairs, personal life and his relationship with Jaya Bachchan. The couple has been married for more than five decades. He has been inspiring his fans with his love with every passing day. However, Big B had once jokingly admitted that Jaya Bachchan is more strict with him than his children.

Amitabh Bachchan is hosting ‘KBC 16’, but throwback videos of the show also keep trending. Last year, in an episode of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 15’, contestant Jaya Patel in a light conversation told Big B that she was strict in her professional life, but remains polite at home. Expressing curiosity, he asked Amitabh Bachchan what he thinks about his wife. Amitabh then replied jokingly, ‘My experience is fine.’ He again revealed about Jaya Bachchan that she is both strict and generous.

Amitabh had said about Jaya, ‘When she is strict, it is better that you stay inside. You can stay locked in your room or go out for a while. When she is generous, everything is great. But, they are more strict with me. why do you ask me that? When I watch this episode with her, she will scold me. I feel scared, so I avoid talking about my personal life.

When Jaya Bachchan revealed the conditions of Big B’s marriage
In granddaughter Navya Nanda’s podcast, Jaya had told about Amitabh’s conditions before her marriage. Jaya had said that they had planned to get married in October after completing their work commitments. Amitabh Bachchan had then clearly said that he does not want a wife who does a 9 to 5 job. He suggested that Jaya should choose her projects carefully and work with the right people. Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya got married on 3 June 1973. Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Abhishek Bachchan are his daughter and son. Big B is currently seen with Rajinikanth in the film ‘Vettaiyaan’, which released on October 10.
