In a conversation with Galata India, Johnny Lever said that on the set of the film, Shah Rukh-Salman lived very well with each other, but pretended to hate each other to harass the people around.

Johnny Lever told that he was shooting for the film in Jaipur and every day Salman used to draw Shah Rukh’s leg on something or the other. Johnny said that he was in a lot of tension that Shah Rukh could be angry someday and could have spoiled the matter between the two. He said, “Apart from me, all the other people also used to have tension that someday Shah Rukh can take these things to the heart.”
Salman-Shahrukh was seen together for the first time in Karan Arjun.

Johnny Lever further said that after the shooting, every night the entire unit used to party together and there was an argument between Shah Rukh and Salman at one such party. He said, “Suddenly Salman took out the gun and we all heard the sound of firing and then we saw Shahrukh falling on the ground.” Johnny told that all the people present there shouted loudly and soon Shah Rukh stood up and he started laughing.

Before Johnny Lever, Shah Rukh and Salman have also shared the story of shooting of the film Karan Arjun. Salman had told in AAP court how he bought a fake gun from the Prop Department. ‘I told Shahrukh, I will call you for dance, you will refuse and then we will scramble. I have an empty gun. I will shoot at you and you will fall down.
