New Delhi. Kangana Ranaut has turned from an actress to a politician. Kangana, who was elected MP from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, has entered the difficult world of politics. After becoming an MP, she has started to understand that balancing her political responsibilities with her flourishing film career is a big challenge. Kangana is known for many hit films in the industry, but for some time now, she has been craving for a hit film. Recently, she spoke openly about the difficulties she faces in her dual roles.
In an interview with Variety, Kangana opened up about the difficulties she faces in her dual roles. She shared, ‘Being an MP is a very demanding job. Especially in my Lok Sabha constituency, there were floods, so I was involved in it all the time. I have to go to Himachal and make sure that things are happening properly.’
Politics is affecting my acting career
Due to the havoc created by the weather, Kangana has to balance her political responsibilities and work in the film industry. Because of this, the schedule has become even tighter. Kangana admitted that the effect of politics on Kangana’s film career is clearly visible, because she has also admitted that her projects are getting affected. She said in the interview, ‘My films and work are getting affected. My projects have to wait. I am not able to start my shooting.
Kangana is ready to fulfill both the responsibilities
Politics and acting are two big responsibilities for Kangana. But even after this, she is ready to walk on both the paths which reflect her. The actress said that I am fully prepared for both the works, and whichever thing needs me more and which engages me more, I will ultimately take that path. But right now a lot is happening in my life.

While on one hand she was seen attending the Lok Sabha sessions, on the other hand, she will soon be seen in the film ‘Emergency’. The trailer of ‘Emergency’ will be released on August 14 on the occasion of Independence Day. In this film, the actress has played the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Kangana shared the new poster of the film on social media and wrote, ‘Be a witness to the darkest time in democratic Indian history and the lust for power, which almost burned the whole country. The trailer of Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency will come on August 14. The darkest chapter of Indian democracy and the explosive saga of the Emergency will be released in theaters worldwide on September 6.’
