Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar was suffering from bladder cancer for a long time. Recently, the actor shared a video on social media and said that he is now free from cancer. After watching this video, fans are not able to recognize him because his hair has fallen out due to chemotherapy.

The actor has shared his emotional journey on social media. The actor told that on December 24, 2024, he underwent surgery for gall bladder cancer at Miami Cancer Institute, America and this surgery was successful. During treatment, doctors removed his bladder and replaced it with another one.
The actor was very scared before taking treatment
Shivkumar further said in the video that he was very scared before taking the treatment. But the support of fans, relatives and doctors gave him courage. In this video, his wife Geeta is also seen along with the actor.
Actor’s wife thanked the fans
While sharing the video on Instagram, the actor’s wife said- Happy New Year to everyone. Due to your prayers, all the reports of Dr. Shiv Rajkumar have come negative. His pathology report has also come negative and now he is finally cancer free. We are both thankful for your prayers.
The actor is on complete rest for a month
Shiv Rajkumar told that his kidney bladder has been removed and another bladder has been installed. He has also undergone chemotherapy. Doctors have asked him to rest for one more month and advised him to take care. Shiv Rajkumar thanked the fans. He congratulated his fans for the New Year and said that he will return to work soon.
Shiva is the elder brother of late Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar.
