Not comfortable to do intimate scenes

Recently, the actress gave an interview for Dirty magazine with Hollywood star Gillian Anderson. There when asked when asked why he had avoided doing sex scenes in films to a great extent? Kareena said, ‘We do not see sexuality or sex as a human experience. I personally feel that it is not important in taking the story forward. I don’t think something like this should be shown in the story. I know that I will not be comfortable to do so on the screen. I never did it. It only depends on how we see this whole idea. ‘

Comparing the way to view sex scenes in India and the West, he said- ‘We have to pay more attention to it before bringing it to the screen and respect it. I believe this. We are still not open like the West. Whereas in the west, the wishes of women are openly raised. There has always been a lot of openness in this matter here.

Kareena played a sex worker in the film ‘Chameli’ in 2003. In her conversation, she explains how this role helped her to improve her confidence and sexuality at an early age.
