Kia Motors has launched its flagship electric SUV EV9 in India today (3 October). The company claims that the car will run more than 541km on a full charge. The car is equipped with high-level features like Highway Driving Pilot (HDP) system. Apart from this, for safety, it has been provided with features like 9 airbags and 360-degree camera and Level-2 ADAS.
The company has introduced the car only in GT-Line trim with a 6-seater layout. Its price has been kept at Rs 1.30 crore (introductory, ex-showroom pan-India). Its 7 seater version will be launched later. This is Kia’s most expensive electric car in India so far, which will be imported and sold here as a completely built unit.
